Cricket is a game where the youngsters get a chance to impress some of the best cricketers in the world. Pathum Nissanka joined the list of these players as his incredible shots gained the appreciation of Suryakumar Yadav, who showed his appreciation with one expression.

‌India posted a massive score of 202 at the Dubai international Stadium which is also the highest score in the tournament so far. While this looked like a tough score to chase down on paper, the Lankans decided to fight fire with fire. Though they lost an early wicket of Kusal Mendis in the first over, Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Perera decided to take the attack to the bowlers and ended the first six overs on a score of 72/1.

The batter who scored the majority of the runs is Nissanka, who showed most of his classy shots in the fifth over, bowled by Harshit Rana. The over cost 16 runs as the opening batters smashed the Indian pacer for a boundary and two big sixes. Apart from the Lankan dug out, Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav was also impressed with his strokeplay and gave a nervous frown while appreciating the great shots of the Nissanka, who had caused problems for the Indian bowlers. It is safe to say that the Indian captain could not help but laud the impressive strokeplay of the young batter.

Takes a lot to impress Mr. 360 of Indian cricket.
